As we known, iOS beta versions always have lots of bugs and problems. After you used the new iOS 11 for several hours or days, you may have got some issues like “battery drain fast” and “system go slowly”. Now you are considering downgrading iOS 11 beta to the a stable iOS 10 version – iOS 10.3.2, 10.3.1 or iOS 10.3.3. But how to uninstall and remove iOS 11 beta?
How to Remove iOS 11 Beta and Re-install iOS 10.3.2 or iOS 10.3.1
Before you downgrade iOS 11 beta, you should know that if you have no iOS 10 backup, you may lose some data on your iPhone and iPad. Because, after downgrading you can’t restore iOS 11 beta backup to your iOS 10 device.
Below are the full steps you should follow to uninstall iOS 11 beta. And it requires one computer, iTunes, USB data cable and your device. Now follow the steps to downgrade iOS 11.
Step 1. Download IPSW files using browser on computer. IPSW.me allows you to download the signed IPSWs to computer. Choose your device model and choose one signed IPSW to download.
Step 2. Go to iCloud settings to turn off “Find My iPhone” on your device.
Step 3. Connect your device to computer using USB data cable.
Step 3. Run iTunes on your computer, if your iTunes is already open, close it and re-open. And you’d better update your iTunes to be the newest version so that it can supports your device well.
Step 4. After iTunes recognizes your device, on iTunes, click your device icon and go to “Summary” section.
Step 5. Press Shift on computer (Option on Mac) while clicking “Update” button on the Summary panel to choose your downloaded IPSW file.
Step 6. Now you can downgrade to previous no-beta version. Wait for the finish of downgrading.
